The Beautiful Flames
Like moths to a flame I'm attracted to sin,
Trying to satisfy the devil within.
I walk and I run, on and on I go,
With every step I fall deeper below
Into the flames; Oh the beautiful flames.
Well known by many with their different names.
So deservingly they scorch my skin,
Recompensing for my bags of sin.
Awaiting for this ordeal to end,
I stand helpless, unable to amend
My past doings but all I can do
Is let go of my tears and call out to You.
