I’m lost and alone,
Where do I go?
Whom do I turn to?
I do not know.
I thought you were my friend,
Will always be there till the very end,
Oh how I was wrong,
And now you are gone.
We didn’t argue, fight nor disagree,
You just left, not saying a word,
And I’m sitting here,
Thinking where have I gone wrong.
You lifted my smile when I was down,
You bought laughter out of me,
You held my head up when I nearly gave up,
You set me straight when I was going
astray.
Yes we had our ups and downs,
Yes you agreed with me most of the time,
And even though I was wrong,
You still kept quiet so I can smile.

Surely it is for the best,
Then why am I, in such a mess?
